About me:
My name is Marisi Sitorus (you've probably heard that like thousand times). I currently study computer science at Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. And because of that, instead of just giving me that da*n title/degree right away, they gave me this web space for life at no charge! holy money!

So, this is my "naive" & somehow "trivial" speculation regarding this web stuff. They gave me this web space (of course, i have to fill the registration form on my will first) so that i have something to play with. Magically, i'll totally screw up my academic life & forgetting everything else (my degree, my work, my... hell knows). Yes, i'm joking.

Sometimes i take snapshoots (yeah, screenshots. whatever) of the running applications on my laptop/PC. Maybe some of you find them interesting or something. You may view them here.

Writings:
First of all, i'm not a good writer. But sometimes it's interesting enough for me to write something somewhere. If you're looking for a completely new way on how a cool guy like me (oh,please!) see the world, then i'm your man. You may start reading them here.

Note: Since i have too many blogs (you may start googling and find them if you're lucky), this one probably is going to be (or maybe not) the official one.

Smoking:
I've quitted smoking since February 2007. If you're the kind of person who were with me before that month, i'm quite sure you won't believe me. Smoking is bad for your health & everybody's health around you. For your reference, cigarette has been my friend for +/- 11 years. So, if you're an active smoker, maybe it's time for you to stop now!

GNU/Linux:
I've been using GNU/Linux for the last few years. There are numerous distros that came and went to/from my PC. And now on, i'm using Debian GNU/Linux exclusively on my laptop.

Software:
Note that i'm not a "professional" software developer (at least i don't pretend to be one). But i wrote some "little" softwares (or maybe some of them are just simple scripts or whatever). Dunno what to do with them yet. I probably will upload them here (or maybe never will and let the folder just empty. The way it is)...

Trash:
Do you like violence? Wanna join me in "flame-war kung-fu"? I've collected some resources to help us starting a new one here.

Nyet, from now on, please state your name correctly when you're flaming others. It's just irresponsible flaming someone/something using a fake/somebody else's name. Why don't you using familiar names like: Monyet (en: monkey), kambing (en: goat), sapi (en: cow), ayam (en: chicken), etc? There are so many options, i guess.

For those of you who habitually like to complain about my not-so-locally-AND-not-so-grammatically acceptable english-writing habit, why don't you start/keep writing your own in your preferable language instead of just keep complaining about others? I didn't "formally" invite you to read and enter this site just to show you that i know something about English & then brag about it. And, that's not even my fault when you don't speak English. If you don't know English, then do something (take a class or two, RTFDictionary, etc) for your own good. For short, in this case, i would prefer if you just mind your own business.

BTW, according to my doctor, this is good for my English skill too (i'm not claiming that my English is perfect to be understandable even by native English speaker & language wizard somewhere). Yeah, like you care.
